Biography
Lisa Guntermann holds the Junior Professorship for Civil Law and Corporate Law since April 2023. She studied law at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. In 2012, she passed the First State Exam, followed by the Second State Exam in 2017. In 2015, she received her doctorate from Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf with a thesis on the interaction of the minimum share capital requirement and the shareholders’ limited liability in a German GmbH.
From July 2012 to September 2017, Lisa Guntermann was a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Ulrich Noack at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. From October 2017 to June 2020, she worked as an attorney at the law firm Noerr in the areas of stock corporation and capital markets law as well as M&A. In July 2020, she returned to the chair of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Noack as a research assistant. After his retirement in September 2022 until her appointment at Bucerius Law School, Lisa Guntermann was employed as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Thilo Kuntz, LL.M. (University of Chicago) at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
